Who our client needs: Project Manager, PMP
What you will be doing:
This is a contract with option to hire opportunity! The PM will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and control of the project. Coordinate efforts with upper management and key stake holders to ensure the objective of the project is met on all levels, and completed within the assigned time and budget.
•Collaborate with developers, quality assurance, production support, and client teams to provide direction on systems analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.
•Assist in the defining of requirements and design of work flows for projects.
•Develop User Acceptance Test Plans; coordinate, facilitate, and participate in UAT phase between vendor and customer.
•Coordinate calendars of key stakeholders, customers, and vendors to schedule meetings.
•Assist in the defining of requirements and design of work flows for projects.
•Participate in entry and exit meetings to ensure that acceptance criteria are met and final deliverables satisfy business needs.
•Ensure effective project hand-off to operations team.
The skills you need to have:
•PMP Certification is REQUIRED!
•Experience with software development in an Agile environment.
•Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
•Strong communication skills including written, verbal and presentation.
•Ability to identify and manage roadblocks throughout the SDLC process.
•Experience translating communication between developers, stockholders, and customers.
•Ability to manage multiple parallel projects and meet customer deadlines.
