Who our client needs: Sr. Lead Developer
What you will be doing:
This opportunity is a 6 month contract with the option to hire, for a Senior .Net Lead Developer that is ready to mentor a team.
- Lead development efforts to build and improve our custom reporting tool used by clients to analyze research data.
- Work with the team to identify and define user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Guide the team in crafting the best architecture to meet the application requirements.
- Mentor more junior team members and lead code review and architecture meetings.
- Help the team complete its journey to test-driven development.
- Work with existing frameworks and greenfield projects.
- Grow your skills and the skills of your team. There are opportunities for continued learning and advancement, participating in seminars and user groups, and collaborating to find new methods and efficiencies for the company and our client projects.
- Work from our HQ in downtown Cincinnati – little to no travel is required.
The skills you need to have:
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and
- 7+ years of development experience in the following languages and tools:
Asp.NET, MVC with web forms, C#, Web API with WCF experience, html, JavaScript, CSS, AngularJS, RavenDB or other NoSQL databases, SQL stored procedures, SQL Server Management Studio, Git source control, Microsoft Azure
- Experience architecting complex, scalable software solutions utilizing MS Azure
- Automated testing experience
- Collaborative team approach to work and familiarity with working in an agile fashion
- Stellar communication skills
Where the position is located: Cincinnati, OH
Rate/Salary: based on experience, up to $110k annual salary
