Sr. Oracle Database Administrator

Who our client needs: Sr. Oracle Database Administrator
What you will be doing:
The Sr. Oracle DBA, will manage the non-SAP database (RDBMS) environments by providing support to the application teams, provisioning new databases, managing database access, and managing and monitoring database backups.
The skills you need to have:
- 4-year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience with Linux Operating Systems
- 5+ years of DBA experience
- Oracle RAC, RMAN and ASM
- Maintain and administer the stability of the Oracle Server environment.
- Administer database security and integrity.
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery plans.
- Perform backup and recovery operations.
- Perform capacity planning, database tuning, and performance monitoring.
- Provide assistance and guidance to developers on database related activities.
- Ensure standards are being adhered to.
- Support data migration projects, conversions and product upgrades.
- Analyze and troubleshoot Oracle Server related issues.
- Provide after-hours or weekend maintenance as needed.
