IT Business Systems Analyst

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst to support the delivery of digital solutions within a complex enterprise environment. This role requires a blend of business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and technical understanding to translate business needs into actionable requirements that drive measurable business value.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience working in Agile environments and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. This individual will play a key role in requirements gathering, solution evaluation, testing, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges, opportunities, and desired business outcomes
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements as detailed Agile user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Communicate requirements and business objectives to development teams and support clarification throughout the development lifecycle
• Evaluate solution options and provide recommendations that balance business needs, scalability, complexity, and delivery timelines
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements
• Identify process improvement opportunities and perform root cause analysis to address business challenges
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and other Agile activities
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure successful delivery of digital solutions
• Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and audit requirements
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, resolve conflicts, and drive alignment across teams
Required Qualifications
• 5 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role within enterprise environments
• Strong experience gathering and documenting both functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience creating Agile user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting product backlogs
• Experience facilitating user acceptance testing and validating business requirements
• Experience working within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and SharePoint
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and entity relationship design
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles
• Knowledge of IT service management processes including incident, problem, and change management
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and drive clarity in complex or ambiguous situations
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working within SAFe Agile environments
• Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, energy, or operational technology environments
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms and service management tools
• Understanding of Power Platform governance, environment management, and application lifecycle management practices
• Experience supporting low-code or no-code solution delivery initiatives
