Craig Mueller, founder and president, started Synergy Consulting Group in 2006. His vision: to provide IT professionals with a qualified resource for employment placement and companies requiring talented individuals to meet the needs of their growing IT departments.
With more than 20 years of experience in the management and placement of IT professionals, Craig has established Synergy as a genuinely knowledgeable and well respected information technology consulting and professional placement firm across the country. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his family and attending sporting events.

Senior Vice President of Operations

As the Vice President of Operations, Bill manages client relationship development, analyzes labor market trends, and collaborates with clients to establish optimal talent acquisition and retention approaches. Furthermore, he leads a meticulously crafted team of Recruiters and Account Managers, supporting them in refining their consultant and account methodologies.
Bill graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University. He, along with his wife, consistently support St. Jude Children’s Hospital through donations. Outside of work, Bill enjoys traveling and watching his two sons participate in sports.

Monica Spradling
Senior Manager of Human Resource Operations
Monica is a seasoned professional in human resources with over 20 years of experience across diverse industries, including retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and consulting. She collaborates and forms partnerships at every business level, working towards strategic objectives.
Monica holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from Kent State University, reinforcing her expertise in people management. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys family activities, attending her children’s various sports events, and traveling.
Chrisy Berkshire
Director of Accounting
Chrisy oversees the entire accounting department and takes charge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and numerous other aspects. With more than 20 years of experience in an office management environment, she continues to run a seamless operation for IT professionals and clients.
Chrisy completed her studies at Kent State University, earning an Associate degree in Business. She regularly contributes to both Compassion International and Delight Ministries through her donations. In her leisure time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and cherishing moments with her grandchildren.

Angela Bates
Senior Accountant
Angela holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University and both an MBA and Bachelor’s in Accounting (Summa Cum Laude) from Walsh University. A CPA candidate with over 30 years of experience, she specializes in general ledger detail, financial reporting, payroll, and supporting cost analysis projects.
Known for her strong organizational and problem-solving skills, Angela has led ERP system implementations and built lasting partnerships across all levels of business.
Outside of work, she enjoys time with her Maltese, Mr. Theo, cheering on her nephew’s basketball games, and staying active in church and family life.
Anne Alderman
Accounts Payable Specialist
Anne has been an integral part of the Synergy team since the beginning, diligently working behind the scenes. Her meticulous approach to managing all accounts payable obligations is indispensable, allowing the team to function seamlessly.
Beyond the professional realm, Anne is passionate about creating lasting memories with her loved ones. She often spends her leisure time camping, taking to the waters with boating adventures, and exploring new horizons through travel.
Mary Seman
Office Administrator
Since 2017, Mary has been fulfilling the Office Administrator role with dedication at Synergy Consulting Group, Inc. Her primary responsibilities include managing client invoices, aiding consultants with travel plans and expenses, and calculating PTO.
She finds great joy in her role, particularly in interacting with consultants and building personal relationships with them. Mary’s commitment to her work and the people she works with makes her an invaluable member of the Synergy team.
Mason Batty
Marketing and Sales Strategist
Mason brings a sharp strategic mind and a results-driven approach to his role as Marketing and Sales Strategist at Synergy Consulting Group. With a deep understanding of the IT staffing landscape, Mason is the architect behind Synergy’s growth-focused marketing initiatives and client acquisition strategies. He specializes in aligning brand messaging with business objectives, driving lead generation, and developing sales campaigns that resonate with decision-makers in the tech space.
Mason graduated magna cum laude from Kent State University, earning his Bachelor of Business Administration with a dual major in Business Management and Marketing. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, coaching lacrosse at Kent State, and cheering on Ohio State and Cleveland sports teams.

Matt Fleshman
Business Development Manager
An Army Veteran with over 17 years in the staffing industry. He has a passion for growing and working with teams. He loves the Buckeyes and has an up and down relationship with the Browns. Away from work he enjoys hanging out with his wife of over 21 years and his 2 teenage sons. He also enjoys riding his side by side in the mountains when he gets the chance.

Katerina Vasilko
Business Development Specialist
Assuming the role of Business Development Specialist, Katerina combines technical knowledge, with a client-focused approach to form long-term business partnerships. In her spare time, she is an avid motorcycle rider and enjoys PC gaming.

Brad Rosenthal
Director of Recruitment
Brad oversees the entire recruiting process for all of Synergy’s clients, ensuring that every step, from sourcing to hiring, is handled with precision and care. Additionally, he serves as the main point of contact for consultants in the field, providing them with support and guidance.
Brad earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio University and a master’s from Youngstown State University. In his downtime, he enjoys bonding with his wife and dog, various sports, traveling, and scuba diving worldwide.

Rod Mullins
Senior Executive Recruiter – Full-time Placement Division
As a seasoned Technical Recruiter with over 20 years of experience, Rod is passionate about building meaningful connections and guiding professionals toward their next great opportunity. With a strong foundation in both contingent and retained search, he has successfully partnered with organizations to identify top talent and drive career growth across the IT landscape.
A proud graduate of Kent State University, Rod brings a thoughtful and personalized approach to recruitment, grounded in long-term relationships and trusted advisory.

Starting as a Junior Recruiter at Synergy Consulting Group, Jeremy quickly ascended to Technical Recruiter in just a year. His role’s highlight is the joy of linking individuals across the US to promising career avenues, reflecting his innate talent for connection.
Jeremy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in General Business from Louisiana State University. As an avid sports fan, he passionately roots for both LSU and Cleveland teams, and when the skies are clear in Cleveland, he indulges in his love for golf.

As a Technical Recruiter, Payton revels in networking with professionals nationwide, assisting them in locating their ideal career match. His work is deeply rooted in a sense of fulfillment and purpose, stemming from the successful connections he fosters.
Payton graduated Cum Laude from Bowling Green State University with a dual major in Finance and Sales & Service Marketing. Payton is an avid supporter of both Tampa and Cleveland sports teams in his spare time and takes great pleasure in playing basketball.

Ava is a graduate of The University of Kentucky, where she studied Integrated Strategic Communications with a minor in psychology. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the Cleveland food scene, and practicing yoga.

As the HR & Marketing Generalist, Julia plays a dynamic role in supporting both the people and creative sides of the business. Within HR, she assists in the onboarding process, ensuring new employees feel welcomed, informed, and prepared to succeed in their roles. On the marketing side, she brings a strong creative edge, leveraging her graphic design skills to develop engaging content and support company branding initiatives. She is a proud Kent State University graduate, holding a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and an MBA in Human Resource Management.
