IT Project Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise technology initiatives. This role is responsible for managing projects using Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies to ensure successful delivery within defined scope, timeline, and budget parameters.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can effectively bridge business and technical teams, manage competing priorities, mitigate risks, and drive measurable outcomes. This position requires experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering IT projects within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead full project lifecycle management from initiation through closure
• Develop project charters, scope documentation, timelines, budgets, and resource plans
• Manage projects using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies based on business needs
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement when applicable
• Track and report project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership
• Manage change control processes and ensure alignment with governance standards
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery
• Drive proactive risk mitigation strategies and resolve escalated issues
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation in accordance with organizational standards
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and resource utilization
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices and delivery frameworks
Required Qualifications
• 5 or more years of experience managing IT projects in enterprise environments
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Strong understanding of project management frameworks, tools, and governance practices
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining quality and accountability
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams
• Strong risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication skills
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
Preferred Qualifications
• Project Management Professional certification or equivalent credential
• Experience leading technology transformation or modernization initiatives
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development, or enterprise system implementations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
