Who our client needs: Network Engineer
What you will be doing:
Plan, design, and support the Client’s data and IP-based voice network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will lead and participate in the development of the enterprise data network solutions along with the implementation, administration, and support of the Client’s technologies.
- Consult and make recommendations on architecture, design, project work scope development, and project implementation areas.
- Identify conflicts between data and voice network infrastructure requirements that support business processes.
- Collaborate, direct, and implement network infrastructure technology and changes.
- Install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot routing and switching network infrastructure.
- Provide expertise in wired and wireless network technologies to the Client and their service providers.
- Identify conflicts between data and voice network infrastructure requirements that support business processes.
The skills you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is preferred.
- Experience with Cisco Network hardware operating systems and configurations.
- Experience with LAN and WAN including routing, switching, sub-netting, VLANs, VRFs, Cisco Nexus 7000,5000, and 2000 data center hardware and software.
- Experience with the deployment and configuration of VoIP, Cisco IP Telephony systems, and Active Directory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Where the position is located: Findlay, Ohio
Rate/Salary: Up to $95,000.00
