Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced OT Engineer to support the design, maintenance, and security of network infrastructure within operational technology environments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable and secure connectivity that supports continuous industrial operations.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in network infrastructure within complex environments and is comfortable working both onsite in industrial settings and remotely managing network systems. This role requires a balance of hands-on field work and remote network administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform network administration and configuration of switches, routers, and firewalls within OT environments
• Manage Layer 2 networking including VLAN design, segmentation, and optimization
• Support Layer 3 routing configurations as needed across operational networks
• Monitor network performance using enterprise and OT-specific monitoring tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to maintain system reliability and uptime
• Support 24/7 operations by responding to incidents or outages as needed
• Implement and maintain network security controls within industrial environments
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support plant connectivity requirements

Required Qualifications

• 5 or more years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure administration
• Strong experience with switches, routers, and firewalls in enterprise or industrial environments
• Proficiency with Cisco networking technologies, VLAN design, routing protocols, and access control lists
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting network performance in complex environments
• Ability to support mission-critical systems in a 24/7 operational setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within operational technology, industrial, or SCADA environments
• Familiarity with distributed control systems such as Honeywell Experion
• Experience with industrial cybersecurity practices and network segmentation
• Familiarity with firewall technologies such as Check Point or Tofino
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in team environments
