Senior VCF Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior VCF Consultant to lead hands-on implementation of VMware Cloud Foundation environments from initial discovery through deployment and transition. This role requires deep technical expertise across the VMware stack and the ability to guide organizations through best practices for enterprise virtualization and software-defined data center architecture.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience implementing VMware Cloud Foundation at scale, strong NSX expertise, and the ability to translate business and technical requirements into executable implementation plans. This role requires both hands-on engineering capability and strong client-facing communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of VMware Cloud Foundation environments
• Conduct discovery sessions and translate business requirements into detailed technical design and deployment plans
• Deploy, configure, validate, and document VCF environments
• Implement and optimize vSphere, vSAN ESA, NSX, Aria, and SDDC Manager components
• Design and configure NSX networking solutions including segmentation and EVPN or BGP integrations
• Develop comprehensive documentation and support structured knowledge transfer and handoff
• Provide best practice guidance across virtualization, networking, and software-defined data center architecture
• Communicate technical decisions effectively to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience implementing VMware Cloud Foundation at enterprise scale
• Demonstrated expertise in planning, deployment, validation, documentation, and environment handoff
• Strong experience with NSX including micro-segmentation and advanced routing configurations
• Deep understanding of vSphere, vSAN ESA, Aria, and SDDC Manager
• Ability to create clear written documentation and architectural diagrams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting VCF 9 environments
• Consulting background with client-facing implementation experience
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
• Ability to work independently in remote environments while maintaining high delivery standards
