SynerGene™ — 1st Edition: Meet Synergy’s New Recruiting Superhero

We’re excited to introduce SynerGene™, the newest addition to the Synergy Consulting Group team — though “team” might be underselling it, since he technically doesn’t have a desk.

SynerGene’s alter ego, Gene Synerowski, is a mild-mannered IT recruiter who spent his days doing the things every IT recruiter knows well: screening résumés, calming down panicked hiring managers, and gently explaining that “entry-level architect” isn’t actually a real job. Then one rainy Thursday, a visit to a client site in downtown Cleveland sent him looking for a quiet corner to take a call — and landed him in a server closet in the middle of a lightning strike and a very unhappy network controller. He walked out with a new identity: SynerGene, sworn to fight staffing chaos, ghosted candidates, and recruiting roadblocks wherever they show up.

It’s a fun way of putting a face on something we take seriously: matching great technology talent with the companies that need them, fast. We put together SynerGene’s full origin story as a comic — 1st Edition — and you can read or download the whole thing below.

If your team is dealing with its own staffing chaos — talent shortages, roles that won’t fill, candidates who vanish mid-process — that’s exactly the kind of thing SynerGene (and the rest of us at Synergy) are built for. Contact us at team@synergycgi.com to see how we can help.
